This animal behaviour series engages children with its large, full spread realistic illustrations, informational text putting the reader in the shoes/paws of the animal, e.g. "If you were a Norway lemming…” and hands-on experiments. The experiments require few household items and the steps are easy to follow.
All of these books lend themselves to interesting, engaging workshops which I will be happy to do at your school or library.
This series was inspired by a student who loved animals but couldn’t find a book that he could decode and understand at his reading level. After a search in the library on his behalf, I couldn’t find one either. So I decided to write one for him and ended up writing five.
“Animal Groups is an exceptionally well written and illustrated text that explores the advantages [of living in groups]”

— Brandon Sun
“Packed with interesting facts, this spacious, large-sized picture book combines a lively, informal text with big, bright, realistic illustrations... an excellent choice for sharing and reading aloud.”
